This is a UI (United Illuminated) pole featuring armless construction with "chicken wing" brackets. This one has the brackets slightly lower than the previous pole.

This is a UI (United Illuminated) mini-crossarm pole that is a successor to the armless construction (or "chicken wing" bracket) poles. As you may notice, there's a pole stub next to this pole which was probably an short-arm bracket pole at one time. I think these really look neat and I even like these more than the CL&P short-crossarm poles.
If a "chicken wing" bracket was transmutated into crossarm pole, the equivalent of course stands here!
